Meet Christopher
The son of immigrants who came to the US from South Korea in the late 1960s, Christopher was raised primarily in Massachusetts.
Like many children of immigrant parents, he learned early the importance of hard work and the value of the opportunities this country offers—opportunities not always available elsewhere.
He went on to graduate from Syracuse University and later earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Christopher has built a career in the technology sector, holding a wide range of roles from software development to IT administration.
Over time, he discovered his true passion: serving as the bridge between business leaders and software developers.
His ability to explain complex systems and foster collaboration has made him a key problem-solver in delivering practical, efficient solutions. He also served as Director of Sales for an international software company, where he managed global teams and ensured clear communication and accountability across time zones.
For over a decade, Christopher has served as president of the Board of Trustees at the Glass Factory Condominiums, a 100+ unit building. In this role, he has focused on maintaining a fiscally responsible budget while planning long-term projects to benefit residents and keep costs down.
He has also been involved with the Massachusetts Rider Education Program (MREP), where he taught safe riding techniques to new motorcycle riders.
A dedicated member of the Melrose community, Christopher is actively involved in the Melrose Youth Hockey and Youth Soccer programs, and is currently serving as Ward Captain for the Override effort. He is also a proud supporter of Porchfest and small businesses throughout the city.
